Water Management Solutions UK Ltd and Rexel started working together in 2014. After being instructed to undertake a national project on behalf of Rexel to investigate any irregularities in their water billing.
We were initially able to identify a non consumptive mischarge related to surface water charges and were able to negotiate for Rexel a refund from the water company for over £60,000 on this service alone.
WMS UK also investigated a water leak Rexel were experiencing at one of their sites. Following our investigation we were able to initiate a successful claim against the water company for a further refund to the water leak.
Further claims were made related to a non connection at a site and we also initiated a project across all Scottish sites which resulted in many thousands of pounds being saved from reduced Rateable Value charges.
Taken as a whole WMS UK were able to negotiate and deliver to Rexel water savings in excess of £80,000 whilst of course ensuring a more transparent water tariff for future operations.
