Water Management Solutions UK Ltd were tasked by the ABF group baking division of Allied Bakeries with the aim to reduce their water cost at their sites around the UK.
Following a detailed appraisal of the historic water billing, WMS UK were able to identify many incorrect cases of overcharging relating to water billing and effluent billing.
After delving into the minutia of the billing and gathering a greater understanding of business operations and the effects it has regarding water usage, we identified a wide range of mischarges and issues rooted in historic water billing errors. Working with Allied Bakeries we were able to claim back up to 6 years under the statue of limitation (this is 5 years in Scotland).
As a result of our findings WMS UK were instructed to negotiate a rebate on behalf of Allied Bakeries.
